Elon Musk has once again stirred the social media via his cryptic tweet that hints SpaceX and Starlink merch and services may soon accept Dogecoin payments.

Musk, who is also known as the 'Dogefather', has previously extended support to DOGE after Tesla began accepting Dogecoin for its own merch store.


Aside from this, Musk also frequently tweets about Dogecoin, with a tweet in which he described DOGE as "the people's crypto" seeing a spike in DOGE's price.

Starlink Accepting Dogecoin Payments?

Speculation went ablaze the moment a Twitter user pitched an idea to Elon Musk asking if SpaceX merch store and Starlink could soon accept payments in Dogecoin.

Musk, in response to this, replied with a wink emoji. This sparked speculations that the billionaire was hinting at his companies soon accepting payments in Doge for Starlink and SpaceX merch and services.

It wouldn't be the first time Musk has openly advocated Dogecoin and extended support to the emerging meme currency. Musk, being a strong Doge proponent has long endorsed several use cases for Dogecoin, going as far as referring to it as the future of cryptocurrency.


Musk's viral wink tweet also caught the attention of Billy Markus, the founder of Dogecoin.

Markus, in response to Musk's tweet, responded with: "I want to buy a model rocket with Doge."


Born as a memecoin, Dogecoin developers have also unveiled a comprehensive DOGE roadmap highlighting new changes in its strategic trajectory. The roadmap intends to accelerate Doge's mainstream adoption and also attempts to integrate new changes to scale the network.
