The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs are all set to go mainstream with the launch of their new three-movie franchise called "The Degen Trilogy."

Crypto exchange Coinbase, also the producers of the BAYC trilogy, first made the announcement in mid-April.

The release of the first BAYC film coincides with the launch of the Coinbase NFT marketplace. They will first unveil the film at NFT.NYC in June 2022.

Coinbase has also invited BAYC NFT holders to submit their Apes for character consideration in the movie. Successful applicants could land their apes a stellar role in the upcoming movie trilogy.

Under the direction of William Swann, Coinbase's entertainment and media wing will produce the franchise under the direction of William Swann. Once released on Coinbase, viewers can watch them by connecting their Coinbase wallets with the platform.

BAYC Film Release Date

The first Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT movie is all set to premiere in June 2022. The movie release has been tied to the launch of the Coinbase NFT marketplace and will be unveiled at NFT.NYC in June 2022.
