The male grooming brand Axe is set to release a limited number of its Dogecoin-inspired body spray, also called the 'Dogecan'.

Axe first teased a Dogecoin-based spray in April, promising to release the Dogecan if DOGE hit $1.00. On the day of Axe's first tweet, Dogecoin was at $0.3195. It has since dropped to $0.1657 at the time of writing (via CoinMarketCap).

Nevertheless, the Axe marketing team did not let this set them back, with the company tweeting a date for the Dogecan - July 20, 2021 - late last week.

Here's a deeper look at the 'Dogecan'.

What Is The Dogecan?

The Dogecan is an Axe-made deodorant set to release in a limited run from July 20. According to the deodorant's branding, it will feature a "48hr crypto scent with a dank musk".

Axe has already sent out some cans to several Dogecoin and cryptocurrency figures, including DogeCoin Rise, Keith "KO Kid" Berry, and Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus.

Markus' tweet included a brief note from Axe that gave further information about the Dogecan.

"We're going to the moon," the note began. "In this can, you'll find the crypto-confidence you need to get there."

"This isn't a scent to stop and celebrate how far the Doge Army has come. It's the scent to rocket us all the way there."

How To Get The Axe Dogecan

Axe has told its Dogecoin followers to "stay tuned to our socials" on July 20 for more information on the Dogecan. However, more details about the launch have started to emerge.

As reported by Fortune, US-based hodlers can get their hands on a Dogecan via the Axe website here. Registration will begin at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT. While only a limited number are available, the Dogecan's will be free.
