We've heard rumours for quite some time about a new potential Crash Bandicoot entry. Following on from 4: It's About Time's release last October - and new-gen/Switch/PC editions in March - this one's believed to called Wumpa League, and Activision's just dropped a pretty big hint.
As a reminder, Activision Blizzard are being sued by the State of California, placing them under investigation for allegedly fostering a sexist and discriminatory work environment. While reports have mainly focused on Blizzard specifically, Activision themselves are facing a separate lawsuit over their response from investors.
Crash Bandicoot: Wumpa League Rumoured To Be Announced Soon
Spotted in an Instagram post, user newtiteuf revealed they'd received a care package from Activision recently, a piñata shaped like a Wumpa fruit. It's reminiscent of Activision's previous tactics, where they sent teases to media and influencers before announcing a new game.
However, there's been no real indication to what this upcoming Wumpa League game could be. Whether its a new platforming entry, a spin-off or something else entirely, that remains to be seen. In the meantime, you can see a tweet above with a screenshot of this instagram post.
