Nintendo's latest console, the Switch, has undoubtedly been a huge success for the company. Combining the convenience of a handheld console with incredible titles you'd usually expect to play on your TV, the console has enjoyed a strong three and a half years on the market.

Of course, Nintendo gonna Nintendo, which means a rumoured revision of the Switch (dubbed the "Super Nintendo Switch" or "Switch Pro") has been rumoured for months - but we now know what it'll be called, what new features it has, and how much it'll cost you.

While it may have disappointed some fans by failing to offer a significant upgrade to the console's internals, early previews of the console have been very positive.

Switch OLED Key Features

The Switch (OLED) has some differences from the base version. For one, its OLED display is 7-inches, as opposed to the 6.2-inches of the standard Switch.

It still docks, but you'll be able to put it into Tabletop Mode more regularly with a wider kickstand. If you do dock it, there's a built-in ethernet port.

It also comes with 64 GB of internal storage, up from the base model's 32GB, and it'll offer enhanced audio.

It comes with White or Neon Red and Blue Joy-Cons.

Will The Switch OLED Play Exclusive Games?

Nintendo's previous hardware revisions have offered very little in terms of exclusive games for the most part, but the company has often promoted a game alongside a new console.

While we don't expect something like Breath of the Wild 2 will be exclusive for the Switch OLED, there's every chance Nintendo will show off its games on the new hardware.
