COD: Mobile World Championship - Stage 5 Finals Info


The COD: Mobile Stage 5: World Championship Finals is drawing close, and the developer has released an official blog to keep the community informed. Stage 3 - Regional Qualifiers was followed by Stage 4, which paved a direct path to Stage 5 - World Championship Finals.

Professional COD: Mobile teams are now preparing for the upcoming tournaments. These will be elimination style bracketed tournaments where top placing teams will move forward to the next stage. Additionally, there are separate Regional Partner Tournaments that are managed by trusted partners around the globe.

These tournaments will also be able to provide qualification to Stage 5 – World Championship Finals. Teams are welcome to take part in both our direct path and our partners’ events. More details on these Regional Partner Tournaments will be announced in the future.

We are excited to announce the official format of the COD: Mobile Stage 5: World Championship Finals Presented By Sony!

As always, we put the safety and wellbeing of our players first. The Call of Duty: Mobile Stage 5: World Championship Finals will be broken up into two finals events. This will be the first time the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship will feature cross-regional competition!

Both events will be held online and broadcast on Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube and Twitch channels. Due to the change in format, we have added more teams to compete from each region! Both two-day tournaments will feature an all-new format of competition to the Call of Duty: Mobile competitive scene.

Day 1 will feature a twelve-team round-robin format to determine the top four teams that will move on to Day 2. Day 2 will feature a double-elimination bracket to determine each Stage 5: World Championship Finals winner!

We’ll be sharing more details about the event in the future, so make sure to keep an eye on our COD: Mobile - Esports website for updates and information. For now, please see all of the dates below and congratulations to each team who have made it to the finals!

Stage 5: Western Finals: Dec 4 – Dec 5

  • Regions: North America, LATAM & EU
  • Teams: 4 LATAM Stage 4 Qualified Teams, 3 NA Stage 4 Qualified Teams, 1 NA CODM Masters Qualified Team, 3 EU Stage 4 Qualified Teams & 1 EU CODM Masters Qualified Team

Stage 5: Eastern Finals: Dec 11 – Dec 12

  • Regions: SAME, Japan, Garena & China
  • Teams: 4 SAME Stage 4 Qualified Teams, 2 Japan Stage 4 Qualified Teams, 3 Garena Qualified Teams, 3 China Qualified Teams

COD: Mobile World Championship - Prize Pool

The prize pool for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021 will be over 2 Million US Dollars over the course of the entire event. The prize money will be distributed among the Regional Playoffs and the World Championship Finals.

Regional Partner Tournaments may have separate prize pools associated with those competitions that will be announced in the future.

Rules

Tablets such as iPads were allowed for Stages 1, 2, and 3. However, players will be required to compete on the Sony Xperia 1 III device in the later stages of the COD: Mobile World Championship. Specific details on eligible devices for each stage of the tournament and other details will be announced in the future.

The use of controllers or any other external equipment is strictly prohibited in all stages of the World Championship. Players attempting to have any external devices interact with their game will be disqualified completely from all Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021 tournaments.
