Will COD 2021 Have Warzone?

Seeing what Activision did with Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, our assumption is going to be no.

While it is possible that COD 2021 will come with a new version of Warzone, maybe even a sequel to make things more interesting, it just doesn’t seem likely given how lucrative the current version of Warzone is.

We imagine that COD 2021 will allow players to switch between Warzone and the new game like Black Ops Cold War did, though it’s far from the most innovative feature there.

Still, the fact that both games release new content at around the same time might mean enough for Activision to consider pairing up the next Call of Duty with Warzone.

Fans can expect some COD 2021 content to appear in Warzone, whether they be characters from that new game or maybe a few maps.

Admittedly, the fact that Warzone’s new map might not be influenced by Black Ops Cold War could mean that the free-to-play shooter could be going on its own path but you never know what might happen.

Activision will probably release new details on the new Call of Duty sometime soon, maybe in a big event like E3 2021.

In the meantime, fans will have to wait and speculate on what the next big installment is going to have, with a lot of us hoping for something Warzone-related.

Call of Duty: Warzone is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC as a free-to-play game.
