The build-up for Season 5of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is starting to intensify, much to the excitement of the community. One of the many talking points ahead of the start of the new season is the potential reveal of COD 2021taking place within the popular battle royale.
The lack of clues has left many players wondering whether the release of the game could be delayed but on August 3rd, Activision revealed the official key art for Season 5, and while it doesn't look like anything Vanguard-related features within the image, one eagle-eyed Zombies Easter Egg hunter has uncovered a small piece of text that reveals that a reveal could be coming much sooner than we think!
Vanguard Teaser In Season 5 Key Art
First discovered by @EricMaynardII, the Japanese text that appears in amongst the red numbers and in the background of the mysterious new Operator translates as "Vanguard coming," heavily suggesting that the reveal of the new title is going to take place in Season 5.
This is the first official Vanguard teaser that Activision has planted into Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, meaning that even more teasers of this nature could be appearing over the course of the season.
COD Vanguard Warzone Reveal Date
An exact date surrounding the reveal of COD Vanguard is still unknown but it is certainly exciting news that teasers are beginning to appear! A Warzone event revealing the first trailer for the game is slated to take place at some point in Season 5 and as the season progresses, more clues will emerge and will eventually reveal the date.
