Sledgehammer Games has addressed visibility levels negatively impacting the game for many players, including the bright sun glare that occurred on several maps. For PC players, Twitter user @KIRNEILL managed to change one of the advanced options found within Vanguard's files.

  1. Open Documents/ COD Vanguard/ playersBeta/ adv_options.ini
  2. Set the PixelPerLightmapTexel to "1"
  3. Then set ParticleLighting to "0"
  4. Once the settings have been changed, the glaring sunlight will have disappeared!

Even though this is an unofficial fix, the results of no sunlight are a huge improvement and allow you to clearly see anything that could be in front of you during a multiplayer match. Unfortunately, this fix only works for PC players, meaning that console players could still encounter the bright glare on the odd occasion.
