The first beta weekend for Call of Duty: Vanguard is finally here and after the success of the Champion Hill Alpha, players are looking forward to getting their hands on the more traditional multiplayer experience the first-person shooter franchise is synonymous with.

After the multiplayer reveal on September 7th, the community will get the chance to experience several innovations implemented by Sledgehammer Games a few months before the full release of the game on November 5th. The opening weekend of the Vanguard beta begins on September 10th and concludes on September 13th. The first weekend is exclusive to PlayStation players thanks to an existing marketing deal with Sony.

The second beta weekend takes place from September 18th and lasts until September 20th and is open to Xbox and PC players as well as the PlayStation community. This weekend will be crossplay, meaning players can battle it out regardless of platform.

How To Download

The process of downloading the beta is incredibly straightforward. For those that have pre-ordered Vanguard digitally, the download will begin immediately but for those still unsure about spending their money, there are plenty of code giveaways taking place which will give them access to Vanguard.
