Call of Duty Vanguard Datamine Turns Up Attachment Info and More


Dozens of Call of Duty Vanguard attachments might have leaked thanks to datamining from the recent Vanguard technical alpha.

Dataminer TheMW2Ghost posted screenshots of files that seemingly detail a Gunsmith feature and the unlock levels for more than 70 attachments.

They say it's likely just the start too, since the files don't show attachments for every available gun in Vanguard.

As in previous Call of Duty games, Vanguard's attachments will presumably let you see how the change will affect the weapon's stats.

However, TheMW2Ghost said the information found is, obviously, subject to change and might not reflect the final product once the game releases.

More information will likely surface once Vanguard enters its beta phase in September, first on PlayStation and then on other platforms.

In July, the state of California sued Activision Blizzard for discrimination and harassment against employees. Numerous allegations emerged soon after from workers corroborating the initial accounts, while evidence of past workplace toxicity and abuse began surfacing online. Employees formed an informal organization and demanded a better response from management, though while some leading figures have departed in the scandal's wake, CEO Bobby Kotick has yet to formally acknowledge any of the allegations - including those from investors - and maintains wrongdoing will be investigated by third party group WilmerHale, a law firm known for anti-union activities.
