Chivalry 2: How to Heal

There are three main ways to heal in Chivalry 2. You can either use a bandage, eat food or make use of the supplies that some classes carry. Each is a good option, and you'll want to make sure you're healing as often as you can. Let's take a look at how each method works.

How to Use Bandages

The majority of classes in Chivalry 2 will have a bandage when you spawn in. Just hold up on the d-pad to consume a bandage. You won't get an instant health boost, rather your health will slowly start to regenerate. This is a good tactic if you get set of fire, or are fleeing a fight. You generally only start with one bandage, but can replenish your supplies at certain points on the map.

Eating Food

While out fighting on the battlefield you may come across food like Cabbage. Pick food up and then double-tap the battlecry button (square on PS, X on Xbox) to consume what you're holding. This can be a great way to get a quick health boost when you are out of Bandages, so keep an eye out for food.

Class Healing

Some classes like the Footman will have special moves that can boost health. The horn will replenish the health of those around you when activated, and health kits can also be thrown down. If you see crates thrown down onto the ground you can use them to gain health. You can even use the crates you throw down yourself. Classes like the crossbow-wielder will give you a banner that heals nearby teammates over time after being placed. Keep an eye out for these options when choosing a class.

That's how healing works in Chivalry 2. For more on the game be sure to keep it locked to Gfinity. We're working on a review and more guides to help you succeed on the battlefield.
