First EU Captains Revealed

Ahead of the first European Trios tournament as part of the World Series of Warzone, the five captains have been revealed by Activision. Here's the full list of captains!

  • Recrent

  • Gotaga
  • Emzy
  • ImAngelikaa

World Series Of Warzone Format

The World Series of Warzone will be a draft-based event for Europe and North American regions where points can be earned by scoring kills and the placement earned during a match.

Rather than a kill race using public matches, the events will be played in private lobbies to avoid any cheaters ruining the experience for any of the competitors.

One point will be scored for each kill and an additional multiplier will be applied depending on the placement.

A full multiplier breakdown can be found below:

  • 1st place - 2x multiplier
  • 2nd-15th place - 1.5x multiplier
  • 16th-50th place - 1x multiplier

For example, if the winning trio or duo scores five kills and wins the match, 10 World Series of Warzone Points will be earned.

Team Selections

Teams are selected by five captains that have yet to be revealed. The captains will be in charge of five teams consisting of 10 Trios or 15 Duos which includes their very own Trio.

Activision will invite some of the players to participate, while all 12 Call of Duty League teams also have the option to field a team.

Alongside the invitations, open qualifiers will also take place. This could be your chance at Warzone superstardom!

Once all the spots are filled, a snake draft will take place for the captains to decide their personal squad and their wider team.

Players earn points for themselves and the captain they represent.

Captain's Cup

Each event will feature a Captain's Cup.

This part of the tournament will rely on the performance of all five teams representing the captain.

$20,000 in prize money will be awarded to the winning captain, while the rest of the team receive $1,000 each.

Prize Pool

Throughout the World Series of Warzone, there will be over $1.2 million in prize money on the line, the largest Warzone prize pool ever.

The first event will feature $300,000 in prize money with individual teams battling it out for $200,000 while the other $100,000 will be up for grabs in the Captain's Cup.

How To Qualify

The qualifications for the first World Series of Warzone event open on May 24th.

The top 64 squads from the four qualifiers will secure a place in the Qualifier Finals, where the winner will be invited to compete in the main event against the very best in the world.
