Warzone's Infinite Gas Mask Glitch Returns

Season 3 of Warzone has been arguably one of the smoothest seasons of the battle royale so far, with very few bugs and glitches impacting the experience for the millions of players dropping into Verdansk and Rebirth Island on a regular basis.

With Season 3 Reloaded fast approaching, players have discovered one of Warzone's notorious glitches has resurfaced, much to the annoyance of players that had enjoyed smooth Warzone gameplay in recent weeks.

Rather than stims being used to outlast the toxic gas, players have found a way to create unbreakable gas masks, allowing them to survive in the gas without taking any kind of damage.

The glitch originally appeared in the early seasons of Warzone but for the past few months, it has been widely believed that the glitch had been fixed by the developers of the battle royale.

Despite those beliefs, Reddit user "kobosil41" discovered a player using the glitch to their advantage.

The May 10th upload clearly shows a player dancing around the edge of the gas with a Gas Mask equipped. Despite the mask reaching its lowest possible level, the player doesn't take any kind of damage and the mask continues to protect them.

Infinity Ward was quick to address the issue that became a regular occurrence in August 2020, quickly applying a hotfix in order to rectify the problem.

With the glitch returning, players are hoping Raven Software is aware of the issue and is working on some kind of fix to prevent unlimited Gas Masks from impacting Warzone ever again.
