Soap Operator Resurfaces In Warzone

John "Soap" MacTavish has been rumoured to be joining the Operator lineup for some time now, but he's yet to make his appearance.

The protagonist from the original Modern Warfare trilogy was notably absent from the 2019 reboot; despite being hinted at in the campaign.

When Modern Warfare's time in the spotlight came to an end, players found files and images of Soap in the game. But he's yet to actually release.

But could that be about to change?

Soap Operator Resurfaces In Warzone

Alongside the Soap Operator, are some skin and weapon bundles including the unreleased C-X9 SMG.

The C-X9 appeared in-game as an unreleased weapon blueprint when playing Plunder.

Players expected this content to arrive in Season 7 of Modern Warfare, but a seventh season was cancelled.

Since then, it's been all Cold War content.

However, there was an exception to the rule. The Sykov pistol was released in Modern Warfare for players to access, the first released Modern Warfare content since Cold War arrived.

We're fairly confident that Soap is being saved for Modern Warfare 2 and is unlikely to launch this year.
