Destroyed building in Downtown Verdansk

As you can see from the image above, the explosions have decimated a vast area of Verdansk, knocking down one of several tall buildings in Downtown alongside Stadium where the tall cranes attempting to build it have been sent crashing to the ground. With huge cracks in the ground, players can also explore what's been hiding underneath Verdansk since the end of the Second World War.

Unlike the bunkers that have been present in Verdansk ever since the original map, there is a new variety of bunker to explore. In amongst a hidden system of passageways. According to the Call of Duty blog post published on September 30th, Adler managed to discover the bunkers before setting off the explosion.

"Their mysterious nature hints at what will come following Vanguard’s launch…" the post reveals.

With the reveal of the bunkers, it's highly likely that they will play a key part in revealing how Warzone moves from Verdansk and into an all-new map set in the Pacific. Until then, we can speculate as to what secrets lie within them!
