Verdansk Undergoes Huge Transformation For Season 6


With just a few days before Season 6 of Warzone gets underway, Raven Software has showcased some of the changes taking place within the battle royale as part of the final season of the Black Ops Cold War era. As revealed in the first cinematic trailer, a wave of explosions has ripped through the Stadium and Downtown, drastically altering the appearance of the map.

The blasts were caused by Adler who had fallen victim to The Numbers mind control programme. Now rescued from the programme, Adler and his squad are preparing to do battle against Stitch for one final time. Here's everything you need to know about all of Verdansk's map changes.

Warzone Season 6 Map Changes

As you can see from the image above, the explosions have decimated a vast area of Verdansk, knocking down one of several tall buildings in Downtown alongside Stadium where the tall cranes attempting to build it have been sent crashing to the ground. With huge cracks in the ground, players can also explore what's been hiding underneath Verdansk since the end of the Second World War.

Unlike the bunkers that have been present in Verdansk ever since the original map, there is a new variety of bunker to explore. In amongst a hidden system of passageways. According to the Call of Duty blog post published on September 30th, Adler managed to discover the bunkers before setting off the explosion.

"Their mysterious nature hints at what will come following Vanguard’s launch…" the post reveals.

With the reveal of the bunkers, it's highly likely that they will play a key part in revealing how Warzone moves from Verdansk and into an all-new map set in the Pacific. Until then, we can speculate as to what secrets lie within them!
