According to Activision, Season 3 will kick off at 5PM BST (9AM PT / 12PM ET) on April 27. This is the same time the update for the battle royale goes live.
Previous seasons of post-launch content have allowed players to pre-load the update a few days prior to its launch, meaning they can jump straight into the action as soon as the clock strikes six.

How to Preload The Warzone Season 3 Update
PlayStation users can preload the update before the action begins. The update should appear automatically but if it doesn't highlight the game tile, press 'Start' then select 'Check for Update.' This will trigger the download and it will begin.
To speed up the process, place your console into Rest Mode and use a wired internet connection to guarantee nothing interferes with the download.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Update Size
Details on the size of the Season 3 update haven't appeared yet but with Vanguard's update weighing in at 10.7 GB, we can expect Warzone's update to be a similar size. It's highly likely PC players will need plenty of additional space in order for the update to download correctly.

Season 3 brings a wealth of content into the battle royale ranging from epic Godzilla and Kong-themed Operator skins to the Nikita AVT assault rifle.

Over the course of the season, more content including new Operators and the H4 Blixen submachine gun (SMG).
