Developers taking inspiration from real-life sources for their titles is nothing new in the games industry as creators look to add more authenticity to experience.

Call of Duty has always been at the forefront of this, as the weapons they use within the game are typically based on actual weapons.

But, are the weapons within Warzone the same as they are in real life?

While Warzone has an ample amount of weapons in the game since the integration between Black Ops Cold War; there are some weapons that are using different names.

FFAR-1 and FR 5.56

The beloved weapon is known by many fans as the FAMAS, and this is actually the real weapon used in the military.

The heavy-hitting pistol is commonly referred to as the Desert Eagle, famous in videogames as being particularly lethal in CS: GO.

Although many would assume that this weapon is a variant of the AK-47; it is actually the Galil!

Modern Warfare 2 fans would be able to name off this weapon right away, as it is actually the TAR-21.

This shotgun may actually be owned by some of our readers, as it is notably referred to as the Remington 870 MCS.
