Warzone Ranked Playlist
The release of the Iron Trials mode towards the end of the Black Ops Cold War era led to many requesting Raven Software to keep the mode as the ranked playlist for the battle royale. This combined with a separate set of ranks to determine the skill of players would be a welcome addition to the game. Having a playlist to cater to a more competitive audience is a surefire way of building more interest in Warzone as an esport and for those that prefer something that's not built towards a casual audience.
Will Warzone Get A Ranked Playlist?
At the time of writing (December 23rd, 2021), there are no signs that a ranked playlist will be arriving to Warzone anytime soon but with the recent addition of RICOCHET anti-cheat significantly reducing the number of hackers within the game, there could be an opportunity for Raven Software to implement a ranked playlist in a future update.
It's clear to see that the demand from players is there and if enough continue to express their interest in the playlist, the developer could well add one at a later date.
