Season 5 Reloaded of Warzone is well underway and as players continue to drop into Verdansk and Rebirth Island, many members of the community have requested the developers to come with a fix for the lag issues in-game.
The likes of Fortnite and Apex Legends include features that enable players to guarantee a low latency during their multiplayer games and as Warzone players grow frustrated with regular issues with lag, players are requesting Raven Software to add a region lock feature to the battle royale in a bid to prevent lag from negatively impacting the smooth gameplay experience expected from a hugely popular triple-A title.

Warzone Region Selection
While playing any battle royale, one thing which plays a major role is the latency a player has. Having a low latency always helps players negotiate engagements with minimal delay and ensures that internet interference doesn't influence the actions taking place during a match. Reddit user, 'iAmSyther' posted about Warzone's existing latency issues.
"PLEASE limit how high our ping goes when searching for lobbies, this is ridiculous," the player stated.
Warzone players are tired of the game putting them in a lobby where they get a ping of over 100, meaning they're unable to enjoy a smooth gameplay experience. Both Fortnite and Apex Legends provide a feature for the players to select a region that will only put them in games that are played on servers in that region, guaranteeing a low ping.
Call of Duty League caster Clint "Maven" Evans has also taken to Twitter wanting Raven Software to add some kind of region selection into the game.
Will Region Selection Be Added To Warzone?
As of writing, it's unclear as to whether Raven Software will be implementing region selection into Warzone anytime soon but with an all-new map set in the Pacific and a dedicated anti-cheat arriving in the next few months, Raven Software could well add region selection into the battle royale.
