Nakatomi Plaza Arriving To Warzone As New Point Of Interest

The start of Season 3 Reloaded for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is right around the corner and just days before the mid-season update goes live, Activision has released the first cinematic trailer showcasing a brief glimpse of what will be on offer once the update goes live.

The theme of 80s action heroes has been known for the past few weeks after the Call of Duty Twitter account began teasing the release of legendary action movie character John Rambo alongside Die Hard's John McClane.

Rather than just releasing the characters as playable Operators, the publisher has also revealed that an iconic location from the first Die Hard movie will be making its way into Verdansk.

Nakatomi Plaza In Warzone

Eagle-eyed players may have spotted a huge skyscraper towering over the rest of Downtown Verdansk and thanks to the trailer, Nakatomi Plaza is also making its way to Warzone alongside John McClane!

Players will be able to explore the interior of the building as well as the rooftop which can be accessed by the ziplines on the outside of the building along with an elevator.

While the open corridors inside the Plaza will play host to the majority of engagements, the trailer implies that there's a sneakier way of navigating the building.

There is a glimpse of an in-game McClane working their way through the vents in a similar way to the movie. Perhaps players can attempt to replicate it? We will have to wait and see.

Judging by the cinematic, players will be able to destroy the elevator which could result in a few easy eliminations.
