Raven Software Confirms Iron Trials Will Arrive To Custom Matches

Iron Trials in Warzone has been one of the more popular additions to the battle royale. The mode adds a hardcore twist to the usual battle royale experience, with increases in base health levels, more costly Loadout Drops, and a lack of Dead Silence adding a further layer of strategy to the game.

The limited-time mode arrived in the latter stages of Season 5 Reloaded but with the launch of Season 6 fast approaching, the community is beginning to wonder whether the mode will be disappearing altogether amid requests of the mode being a permanent fixture. Even if Iron Trials does disappear, players will still be able to get their fix in custom matches!

The news was confirmed by Raven Software after Warzone extraordinaire JGOD enquired as to whether there was a possibility of the popular mode staying in the game for a little while longer. While the playlist will be disappearing on September 30th, the developer has hinted that it will be arriving in Warzone in the near future.

The exact reason why Iron Trials will be removed from the game is unknown, especially when it's proven such a hit but this hint of the mode being permanently available in custom matches is positive news for those that are looking to get their competitive fix. Tournament organiser BoomTV is already planning on hosting custom Iron Trials matches in the not too distant future.

When Will Iron Trials Arrive In Custom Matches?

Raven Software has yet to reveal an exact date for Iron Trials to arrive in Warzone's custom lobbies but it has confirmed that it won't be appearing as part of the September 23rd playlist update. With the mode being removed in just over a week, there's every chance that it will be added shortly after it's removed from the selection of playlists.
