It turns out that it's incredibly straightforward to fix this particular error code that prevents players from gaining access to Warzone and Modern Warfare. Here's a simple step-by-step guide that will make the Goldflake error disappear in no time at all:

  1. Restart the PC or console you're using.
  2. Wait for it to reboot.
  3. Launch Warzone or Modern Warfare.

As soon as you load back into the game, the error code should disappear completely, allowing you to get into matches again. This particular workaround isn't an official fix so if it appears again, repeat the process and it should fix the problem.

It's unclear as to whether Activision and Raven Software are aware of this problem but considering there are more pressing bugs and exploits that need to be addressed, it's unlikely that a more official fix will be arriving anytime soon.
