The Secrets of the Pacific event is already underway in Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard. Sledgehammer Games has temporarily disabled Vanguard's event, but Warzone players can still visit Verdansk to complete the six challenges that reveal new information on the Caldera map, which will be released as part of Season 1.
With plenty of exciting upcoming content and updates, millions of new players are also experiencing Call of Duty titles for the first time. However, all the Call of Duty titles follow a similar procedure if you're looking to tweak your in-game name.. Here’s how you can change your username in Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard.
How To Change Username In-Game
Players must change their Activision ID to change the username in Warzone or Vanguard. This means that the name change will be applied to all Call of Duty games for which the players use the same Activision ID. Here are the steps to change the username while in the game:
- Launch Warzone or Vanguard
- Go to “Options”
- Select “Account”
- Click on “Activision Account” and then choose “Change Display Name”
- Enter the desired username and click “Confirm”
How To Change Username Online
A Vanguard or Warzone username can be changed via mobile or web browser as well. Here’s how you can do it:
- Log into the Activision account here
- Select “Profile” from the menu on the top-right corner
- Click on “Basic Info”
- Scroll down and select “Edit” right next to the “Activision ID” option
- Enter the desired username and click on “Save”
It's important to note that players can only alter their name once every six months by purchasing a "name change ticket". Players can only have two tickets in their account at any given time, meaning there are only so many chances to land that perfect in-game name.
