Call of Duty Warzone: Does the Specialist perk work in battle royale, or only in multiplayer?

Call of Duty: Warzone, the new free-to-play Battle Royale, is here and has already racked up over 30 million downloads. 

With the game adopting Call of Duty's famous perk system through custom loadouts that players can call in, is there room for the Specialist perk?

Here's whether you can use it in the Warzone mode.

Can You Use Specialist In Call of Duty: Warzone?

If you've been playing Modern Warfare's multiplayer, you'll know that Specialist is a perk that trades killstreak rewards for the ability to earn extra perks with each kill.

It grants players three perks to begin with, then adding another at 2 kills, another at 4, and a final at 6 kills.

It can essentially turn a great player into a one-person-army.

Unfortunately for Warzone players, they won't be able to jump into the mode with this perk equipped. That's because Specialist simply has no effect in Warzone.
