The M60 light machine gun continues to be slept on as Season 6 of Warzone comes to an end and the community begins to focus on the launch of Season 1 for Warzone Pacific, an all-new era for the battle royale.

Featuring strong damage output and moderate recoil, the M60 is surprisingly strong in mid-range combat and thanks to its huge magazine, it can disable and destroy any vehicle that may come your way over the course of a match.

With a number of different attachments to equip, it can sometimes be tricky to determine which are the very best to use.

M60 Warzone Loadout

This fully-automatic LMG comes with an extremely large magazine as standard, freeing up an additional attachment slot that can be used to improve mobility.

With it being a huge weapon, mobility is slow, especially when sprinting. With slow movement speeds, it can hinder your movement across the map and it can be tricky to evade any incoming gunfire quickly.

Although its fire rate is much slower than other weapons in the category, it is easy to control when firing and comes with minimal damage drop-off, meaning it can be used in long-distance skirmishes.

Semtex can prove advantageous over a frag grenade as it can be thrown faster, making it the best grenade to use if you need to deal some additional damage quickly.

The decoy grenade may not be the most popular piece of tactical equipment to use but it is certainly effective to draw out an opponent into the open and to eliminate them with ease.

• Double Time (Perk 1)
• Overkill (Perk 2)
• Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Double Time further improves mobility by doubling the length of Tactical Sprint while Overkill enables you to equip a second primary weapon to increase versatility.

Battle Hardened is arguably the best Perk to select in the final category thanks to its ability to increase your resistance to any enemy flash and stun grenades, allowing you to maintain focus in a gunfight.
