How to Download Call of Duty: Warzone

It all comes down to whether you already own the excellent Modern Warfare (2019).

If You Already Own Modern Warfare (2019)

Good news, you don't have to do a great deal. Whether you're on PS4, Xbox One or PC, simply hold tight – there's a countdown on the main menu to Warzone's release, but you'll need to make sure the application is up to date.

The mode will be available to download at 3pm.

If you're desperate to start playing, it might be worth turning on auto-updates to ensure it's pushed to your console or PC as soon as it goes live – it's between 18 and 22GB depending on your preferred platform.

This is also straightforward but will take a little more time - the download will be available at 7pm GMT.

At the time of writing on launch day, the Warzone standalone title isn't available on the PlayStation, Xbox, or Battle.net storefronts. That means you'll essentially need to keep checking to see when it goes live on your platform of choice.

Once it does, you'll want to start downloading immediately as it's a whopping 83 - 101GB download.
