Warzone 2 Leak Reveals Return of Pro Perks

Although Season 3 of Warzone is well underway, fans of the battle royale are already looking ahead to the launch of Warzone 2, a brand-new Call of Duty battle royale experience from Infinity Ward.

Although there's no official information on the next chapter of Warzone, leaks claim major changes relating to Loadout Drops, a new inventory system, and more are on the way.

Pro Perks haven't featured in a Call of Duty title since 2010 and it appears that they're making a return as part of Warzone 2, adding even more depth to building the very best loadout.

Pro Perks in Warzone 2

Information on Pro Perks in Warzone 2 comes from a report from notable Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson. The report claims players can loot upgraded Perks by unlocking Strongholds, a new element of the game that involves completing an objective in order to obtain the high-tier loot.

However, Henderson says that it's unclear if Pro Perks will appear as part of the loadout selection, suggesting the additional advantages are far too strong to use alongside a weapon of your choice.

Pro Perks could return in Warzone 2

As always, it's important to take leaks with a pinch of salt but considering Henderson's impressive track record of revealing information before Activision, there's a chance of the leaked information on Warzone 2 Pro Perks is correct.

In 2009's Modern Warfare 2 Pro Perks are boosted versions of base Perks, adding another benefit for players to use. For example, Ninja prevents players from appearing on heartbeat sensors while the Pro version reduces movement noise volume by 75%.

With the hype surrounding the new era of Warzone beginning, it's only a matter of time before Activision and Infinity Ward begin sharing the intel. If Pro Perks are in, seeing how they impact the game will be an interesting prospect.
