With only a few weeks to go until the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games and Activision are beginning to unveil more information about the latest instalment in the first-person shooter franchise. Having already revealed plenty of information surrounding the single-player campaign and multiplayer, intel on what the next chapter of Zombies has been slim.
Black Ops developer Treyarch will be leading the development of Vanguard Zombies, much to the delight of the community that wants to learn more about what's expected to be a prequel to the Dark Aether storyline which concluded with the launch of the Forsaken map. Here's everything you need to know about the reveal date for Vanguard's Zombies mode.
COD Vanguard Zombies Reveal Date
Zombies fans can get the very first look at Treyarch's latest undead extravaganza on October 14th at 8AM PT (4PM BST). The news was announced on October 12th after the Call of Duty Twitter account posted a ten-second teaser trailer.
As the Tweet shows, it looks like demons will be on their way to the Dark Aether with the mode containing a "sinister twist" that likely involves the evil overlord that magically appears in the background in amongst some World War 2 fighter planes patrolling the skies.
Prior to the reveal of the teaser, leakers managed to discover that the first map releasing in Vanguard Zombies will be known as "War of the Dead." Could the reveal taking place in a few days give us the first look at the brand-new map and its undead enemies? We will have to wait and find out.
