The idea of adding classic multiplayer maps into modern Call of Duty titles often splits the opinion of the community, with many enjoying a trip down memory lane while others prefer experiencing some of the new maps that are on offer. Prior to the start of Season 1 for Call of Duty Vanguard, Activision has unveiled the return of a classic map that first appeared all the way back in 2007.

14 years later, Shipment will be making its way into the multiplayer map pool as part of Vanguard's pre-season content that will keep players ticking over until the first full season of post-launch content begins on December 2nd.

Since its first appearance, Shipment has appeared in several titles, most recently 2019's Modern Warfare. The map is designed for all-out chaos, with the chances of encountering a player as soon as you spawn extremely likely. Vanguard's iteration of Shipment is sure to be a popular one as players attempt to rank up their weapons, Operators, and Season Level as quickly as possible.

When is Shipment Arriving In COD Vanguard?

As the map is part of Vanguard's pre-season content plans, players won't have to wait long in order to drop into the fast and furious action. Shipment arrives in Vanguard on November 17th, 12 days after the game releases. We recommend keeping hold of your Double Weapon XP tokens until then to level them quickly.
