Is Call of Duty Vanguard on Stadia?


Call of Duty: Vanguard's global release is approaching, much to the excitement of fans eagerly anticipating the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter game. Fans and players will find lots of exciting features to enjoy, including a brand-new single-player campaign, a redesigned multiplayer mode, and a new Zombies plot set in the Dark Aether.

Like with any other upcoming Call of Duty title, every fan wants to get their hands on the next big shooter. As the game launch gets closer and closer, many in the community are left wondering if it will be available on Google Stadia.

Is Vanguard on Stadia?

Stadia, previously known as Project Stream, is a cloud streaming service developed by Google that allows the players to play any game from its server to the device of their choosing. This service eliminates the dependency on costly hardware to play the latest and top games requiring high-end system configuration.

Although Activision has established partnerships with Google Cloud and Youtube Gaming, confirmation as to whether Vanguard will be available on the platform has yet to be revealed. The partnership aims to help maintain Activision’s servers and promote the battle royale games as competitive esports, rather than hosting its triple-A titles.

Will Vanguard Ever Be On Stadia?

During the GDC 2019 Keynote, Google announced that Stadia could potentially support a battle royale game consisting of 1,000 players. Whether this holds up or not remains to be seen, but Activision needs to be the one making the first move in order to launch Call of Duty titles on Stadia.
