The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard is finally here and one of the major talking points prior to its release is the ability to use Tactical Nuke. While Vanguard boasts plenty of weapons, it doesn’t feature the Tactical Nuke but offers something very similar - V2 Rocket.
Obtaining a nuke killstreak in Call of Duty is not a small accomplishment. Since it ends the game early with a literal blast, it's always been the pinnacle of Killstreaks and scorestreaks in multiplayer. To score one, players need to have a high skill ceiling and plenty of luck in order to get a V2 Rocket in Vanguard. Here’s how you can get the nuke killstreak and unlock the V2 Rocket.
How To Get Vanguard Nuke Killstreak and Unlock V2 Rocket
As Vanguard includes Killstreaks, streaks function differently than in Black Ops Cold War. Getting the V2 Rocket is quite straightforward - Secure 25 kills without dying.
To make things even simpler, you don't even need the V2 Rocket as a killstreak to use it. Knowing how difficult it is to get 25 consecutive kills without dying, the game immediately grants a V2 to anyone who achieves that goal.
Fastest Way To Get V2 Rocket in Vanguard
The Combat Shotgun appears to be players’ best bet to get the V2 Rocket as quickly as possible. Call of Duty Youtuber ‘Crakrz’ earned the V2 Rocket in under 40 seconds while sitting comfortably in the opposite team’s spawn on Das Haus.
With the best Combat Shotgun loadout, you too will be able to move around the map patiently and crack skulls open in close range. After all, shotguns excel in the short distance and are powerful enough to one-shot the enemies. While this might appear to be a bit boring, it is one of the best ways to hit the 25 kills mark without dying.
