Just a few days have passed since the worldwide reveal for Call of Duty: Vanguard and the hype surrounding the next release in the storied first-person shooter franchise is slowly beginning to build. Before its full release on November 5th, players will be able to get their hands on the game through two betas and an alpha, ideal if you're unsure as to whether you want to invest your hard-earned cash into the game.
Kicking off on August 27th is the alpha, and will give the community the very first chance to play Champion Hill, a brand-new game mode that's a hybrid between Gunfight and battle royale. Find out how to download and play the alpha in this article.

How To Download COD Vanguard Alpha
As expected, the process of downloading the Vanguard alpha is incredibly straightforward. Head to the PlayStation Store and search for 'Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha,' and it should appear in the search results.
Depending on the platform, select which alpha to download and it will begin. To ensure it downloads as fast as possible, put the console into Rest Mode and it should be done in a few minutes.
Is The Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha On Xbox And PC?
Due to Sony's existing marketing deal with Call of Duty publisher Activision, the alpha is exclusively available on PlayStation, meaning that it will not be playable on Xbox and PC platforms. Despite this, there will still be an opportunity for Xbox and PC players to get their hands on Vanguard before its full release.
From September 16th to September 20th, a beta weekend will take place and is likely to feature more modes, weapons, and maps than the Champion Hill alpha, meaning we will get a better idea of what multiplayer will be like when Vanguard releases.
