Call of Duty Vanguard is out across all platforms and players are getting stuck into Sledgehammer Games' latest offering as the franchise returns to a World War 2 setting once again. Season 1 hasn’t even started yet, and players are already expressing their frustrations over various issues, including the spawns. As well as providing feedback, some are discovering new bugs and exploits that they can use to get the upper hand over the opposition.
A notorious glitch from Modern Warfare 2 has made a return in Vanguard multiplayer, much to the surprise of the community. Known as the elevator glitch, the exploit is allowing players to fly into the sky, viewing vast areas of the map.

Call of Duty players are known to express their frustrations when it comes to game-breaking issues despite taking the time to discover some of the more interesting glitches. Twitter user @CronusNac posted a brief clip of the elevator glitch in action and it appears that it involves the Deployable Cover Field Upgrade.
The Field Upgrade is clearly intended for a different purpose, but the player uses it to get cover around a corner and starts blind firing. Blind fire is a new feature in Vanguard that allows players to shoot from behind a wall without exposing their bodies. While the player spams crouch while blind firing, they slowly begin to hover high above the map, giving them a birds-eye view of the action. glitch to take place.
When Will The Elevator Glitch Be Fixed?
Every game has its own bugs and issues and the Call of Duty series is no exception. While Sledgehammer Games is yet to officially acknowledge the elevator bug’s existence, it's likely that the glitch will be addressed in an upcoming update.
