Call of Duty Vanguard Will Not Appear At E3 2021


In recent months, the rumour mill surrounding the release of COD Vanguard has almost come to a halt, with little to no information surrounding the new instalment of the franchise appearing.

With Activision confirming its appearance at E3 2021, many Call of Duty fans were hoping for some kind of new information surrounding the release that is still scheduled to release in Q4 of 2021.

According to a new report first published by VGC, fans will have to wait a little bit longer for some intel on Vanguard.

No COD Vanguard At E3 2021

The report reveals that there will not be a reveal during the all-digital E3 event despite Activision being one of the publishers showcasing other projects.

Instead, the new title is expected to be revealed through a live in-game event within Warzone in a similar fashion to how Black Ops Cold War was revealed in the Summer of 2020.

Despite rumours surrounding the development of Vanguard, both Activision and Sledgehammer Games have confirmed that the game is still on track for its intended release date, much to the excitement of the community that is already turning its attention to the release of a new title.

A Brand-New Warzone Map

As part of plans to reveal Vanguard to the world, VGC also reports that an all-new Warzone map set in the Pacific.

Unlike its transition to the 1980s, the new map is expected to release alongside Vanguard, aiming to integrate the new title into the battle royale as fast as possible.
