This followed the announcement of the Vanguard alpha set for August 27, though that particular demo is only available for PlayStation users.
PS players also get first dibs at the beta. The initial Call of Duty Vanguard beta goes live on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 a full week before it does on other platforms.
On September 7, before any of that, Activision will debut the first look at Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer, which will presumably include Champion Hill mode as well.

The open beta is available on all platforms at the same time, and the full game launches November 5.
As for what the multiplayer reveal might contain, we're hopeful it shows some of the 20 maps rumored to launch with Vanguard.
In July, the state of California sued Activision Blizzard for discrimination and harassment against employees. Numerous allegations emerged soon after from workers corroborating the initial accounts, while evidence of past workplace toxicity and abuse began surfacing online. Employees formed an informal organization and demanded a better response from management, though while some leading figures have departed in the scandal's wake, CEO Bobby Kotick has yet to formally acknowledge any of the allegations - including those from investors - and maintains wrongdoing will be investigated by third party group WilmerHale, a law firm known for anti-union activities.
