8mm Marksman Rifles in Call of Duty Vanguard provide players with a hybrid between a powerful sniper rifle and a more agile assault rifle which makes them some of the strongest and most versatile weapons in the entirety of multiplayer. The G-43, in particular, is armed with an incredibly fast rate of fire that's "most effective at medium range." With Season 1 right around the corner, many are beginning to utilise the immense power of the G-43 to their advantage.
The rifle may not have the same firepower as the other Marksman rifles that are available but with the right set of attachments equipped, it can easily compete with them. With that said, find the best G-43 attachments to use and the best G-43 loadout for multiplayer action.
How to Unlock
The G-43 is the last Marksman rifle to unlock. Simply work your way up to Level 47 to equip it into your loadout. The base version isn't exactly the best so use a Double Weapon XP token to unlock some attachments as fast as possible.
The Best G-43 Attachments in Vanguard
With ten attachment slots to utilise, it can get confusing when it comes to finding a combination that provides various improvements across a number of areas. Thankfully, we've taken all the guesswork out and found a deadly set of attachments that are extremely effective in most situations.
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: ZP 770mm Precision
- Optic: M38/Slate 2.5x Custom
- Stock: Fitzherbert Reinforced
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 8mm Klauser 8 Round Fast Mags
- Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Proficiency: Awareness
- Kit: Fully Loaded
This particular set of attachments heavily focuses on maintaining high levels of accuracy during a gunfight. The likes of the F8 Stabilizer and the 770mm Precision Barrel provide improvements to damage range and a reduction in scope sway, ensuring your bullets land on their intended target.
The Best G-43 Loadout in Vanguard
Once the attachments have been equipped to the G-43, the rest of the loadout needs to be optimised in order for you to consistently appear at the very top of the scoreboards. The best Perks, Equipment, and Field Upgrade will significantly raise your chances of dropping several kills on a regular basis.
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Forward Intel
- Perk 3: Lightweight
Ninja silences footstep audio, making it very easy to move around the map without alerting any opposition to your location while Forward Intel increases the minimap area alongside showing where the enemy spawns in! Last but not least is Lightweight. The increase in movement speed allows you to navigate around the map quickly as well as outmanoeuvre any enemies that may be equipped with a more mobile assault rifle or submachine gun.
- Lethal: Molotov Cocktail
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
The blazing inferno that appears when a Molotov Cocktail hits the ground is an excellent way to deal a sizeable amount of damage to anyone that gets too close. It may not guarantee a kill but you can follow up with the G-43 to take care of them with a couple of bullets.
The Smoke Grenade is heavily underrated despite being incredibly useful. Throw it to block off a key line of sight or use it as some temporary cover to evade any players attempting to kill you.
Many players overlook the Counter Spy Plane as a Killstreak in Vanguard but if you want to disorientate the opposition without blocking one of the three Killstreak slots, the Jammer is the perfect Field Upgrade to choose. Hide it in a dark area or a corner to block out a large portion of the minimap, preventing them to see your location on the minimap.
The Best G-43 Blueprint in Vanguard
Like many of the weapons in the Vanguard arsenal, the G-43 has yet to receive a weapon blueprint. As soon as it does, we will update this guide with the best one to use as well as how to unlock it.
Is The G-43 Good in Vanguard?
After spending some time getting to grips with the G-43, I would say that it's one of the most accurate weapons to be using in Vanguard multiplayer but it feels like something is missing compared to the others on offer. It definitely has its place in the arsenal but with the M1 Garand and SVT-40 being as good as they are, I would consider using those ahead of the G-43.
