The PS4 exclusive game Bloodborne was released by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2015. The action-RPG became known for its Gothic vibe seen through the visuals and gameplay centering around the player’s character, Hunter.
Bloodborne could also be played in the PS5 thanks to the console’s backward compatibility to run PS4 games. But there might be some things about the game that cannot be maximized on the PS5.
With that being said, here’s everything you need to know if Bloodborne will be getting a PS5 4K 60 FPS upgrade or not in the future.
Is Bloodborne Getting a PS5 4K 60 FPS Upgrade?
There is still no official announcement by Sony whether Bloodborne will be getting a PS5 4K 60 FPS upgrade anytime soon.
Although there were leaks from known French retailer Fnac that suggested that there might be a possible Bloodborne Remastered for PS5. But this was also never confirmed.
Yet innovation from modder Lance McDonald sparked reactions from gamers when he created an unofficial 4K and 60 FPS mode for Bloodborne. But this option is only available for the PS4 and would need a hacked console in order to run.
Sadly, even if the original Bloodborne was successful, there is still no news about a possible Bloodborne 2. Only time will tell if some sort of sequel to the 2015 hit would initially spark, and if it happens, it could be something inclined to the newer PS5 console.
