Sai Weapon Exploit Makes Zombies Players Skip Through Doors

With Season 5 Reloaded of Black Ops Cold War is well underway, players are now looking towards Season 6, the final post-launch content season of the game cycle. As with every season, Treyarch is expected to launch a range of new modes and items to keep the game feeling fresh.

However, a new exploit has been discovered with Black Ops Cold War's new Sai melee weapon which enables players to skip through the first door on the Firebase Z Zombies map, much to the surprise of the community that usually expects to spend their Essence in order to progress around the map.

Multiple players reported this exploit which lets them go through the first door at Firebase Z while they had the Sai equipped. Mark Maestas, one of the lead developers of Zombies responded to this on their Twitter in a very enthusiastic manner and said, "Dear Zombies players, yes you can skip the first door in Firebase Z. Zombies can come and greet you too. GLHF!”

Exploits like these are generally addressed and fixed through patches, and while Mark's enthusiastic acknowledgement of the exploit has humoured many, it's clear to see that Treyarch is aware of the exploit and it will be addressed in an upcoming update.

In the meantime, players will now be able to traverse Firebase Z at a much faster pace and for less Essence, which is certainly handy when saving up for a Pack-a-Punched weapon. Make the most of it before Treyarch fixes the update!

As we wait for a fix for the issue, check out everything you need to know about the fourth round-based map and the return of the Margwa Zombie!
