Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War is nearing the halfway point and as fans turn their attention to what content could be arriving, another game-breaking bug has emerged, much to the annoyance of players.

Treyarch’s fifth Black Ops title contained numerous bugs ranging from issues surrounding Calling Cards to more problematic situations such as the “Trial Has Ended” error which left players locked out of the game.

The latest bug being reported across a range of multiplayer modes grants players the ability to see their opposition through walls, giving them a huge advantage.

Players started to encounter the issue on March 19th, a day after Treyarch launched an update for the game. Since then, players have noted that the patch is the cause of the issue.

Reddit user ‘Nikolord’ posted a clip of the bug which happened during a Search and Destroy match.

I could see enemy's gamer-tag in live movement (SnD gamemode)

From the beginning of the round, the player could see an opponent’s health bar along with their name through any pieces of cover standing in their way. The team quickly headed across the map and dealt with the enemy with ease.

The bug doesn’t appear to be specific to S&D. Users are reporting that they have encountered the issue on Domination and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb.

Cold War Wallhacks Bug Fix

The bug has yet to appear on Treyarch’s official Trello board but with so many players receiving unintentional wallhacks, it will only be a matter of time before the developer addresses the issue.

The mid-season update for Cold War is right around the corner, meaning a fix is likely to be included in the patch which is expected to go live on March 25th.
