Crystalised Weaver Operator Skin Is Breaking Black Ops Cold War Aim Assist

Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War is in its early stages and Treyarch is already adding even more new content for players to obtain. One of the new additions to arrive is the Crystalized Weaver Operator Skin, one of the main features of the Requiem Reconnaissance bundle available to purchase from the store.

The outfit sees Weaver donning a biohazard suit covered in Dark Aether crystals, making it one of the most unique Operator Skins to unlock in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Despite its incredible colour, the skin is having a huge impact on aim assist during a multiplayer match, much to the annoyance of those that have encountered players using the skin.

Twitter user @OhGuny was one of the first players to discover the game-breaking issue with the Operator Skin after testing it in a Nuketown private match with a friend.

Despite being able to eliminate his opponent, the player clearly displays a lack of aim assist when attempting to focus on the moving target. With minimal assistance, it's almost impossible to eliminate an opponent during a multiplayer match, so it's understandable to see why the community is frustrated with the Crystalised skin.

When Will It Be Fixed?

It's unclear as to when the issues with the Operator Skin will be addressed but considering the huge implications it has on one of the most important elements of Black Ops Cold War, it's likely that Treyarch will implement a fix in the not-too-distant future.
