Call of Duty: Vanguard Reveal Event Added To Warzone?

With COD 2021 in the sights of many eager Call of Duty fans, it appears that Activision are getting ready to announce it to the world in the near future.

Believed to be called 'Call of Duty: Vanguard', the next Call of Duty title will again be shown off in Warzone.

Warzone was utilised last year to announce Black Ops Cold War. We've reached that point in the year where previous Call of Duty titles had been announced/shown off.

Cold War was the latest Call of Duty reveal in the franchise history, no doubt to the global pandemic and studio issues that led to Treyarch taking over from Sledgehammer Games.

Fortunately, it may seem like the new Call of Duty may be revealed much earlier than last if datamines are to go by.

Vanguard Event Added To Warzone?

Reliable leaker @ZestyCODLeaks has revealed a bunch of new code in the game files relating to a new event.

With the Season 3 Reloaded update, it gave Call of Duty the opportunity to preemptively place some code into the game files.

Based on the above tweet, it looks like the event itself is nearing completion and the files are slowly being added to the game.

While we're unsure when a reveal will arrive, we can be certain it will come sometime after the start of Season 4.

It's likely that Season 4 will spend the duration of its time building up to this event before finally revealing it to the world; similarly to how things were done last year.

The 1984 Verdansk map had been teased and built up ever since Season 2, despite those hints and teases being subtle ones.
