Black Ops Cold War: Will The Inspect Weapon Feature Return?

At the multiplayer reveal for Black Ops Cold War, there were so many details it was hard to keep up on the light things that matter.

Modern Warfare's intriguing year didn't come without its groans, but it was a huge success at the end of the day and a game that constantly evolved for the better.

You may not agree and believe that Warzone helped it limp over the line, but there's a lot that Modern Warfare did right.

While it took a long time to get it implemented, the weapon inspect feature was fantastic.

But will it return in Black Ops Cold War?

Will Weapon Inspect Return In Black Ops Cold War?

Treyarch has been watching from the shadows, tinkering away on their new title while learning a lot from Modern Warfare's mistakes.

Activision confirmed that the inspect weapon feature will return in the next Call of Duty game - Black Ops Cold War.

Weapon inspections were implemented during Modern Warfare Remastered, likely due to their overwhelming popularity in rival games like CSGO.

This feature wasn't added into Modern Warfare until early August with the Season 5 update.

To inspect your weapon all you need to do is hold the left button on your D-pad.

This will prompt your player to look at both sides of the weapon you are currently holding.

This feature works for every weapon in the game.

It can be assumed the function will work very similarly in the new Call of Duty, but it would be great to see some more unique inspections.
