Call of Duty Black Ops 4's cancelled campaign footage leaks on Reddit

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is expected later this year, and this franchise reboot is widely expected to include a single-player campaign – something Black Ops 4 famously left on the cutting room floor.

Luckily, that campaign has not been totally lost to the annals of history after a Reddit video appears to show footage of the mode.

The footage shows a mission with an objective that tasks players with "finding the Aquilus CEO", as well as "secure the courtyard" and "neutralize hostiles and secure VIP".

You can check it out below.

It also looks to take place on the Seaside multiplayer map, while certain textures and models look incomplete, perhaps suggesting that the footage is pre-Alpha.

The uploader of the video, u/ForeverDexus, also uploaded additional footage "showcasing augmented impact effects within the BO4 engine".
