Black Ops Cold War Beta Double XP Guide: How To Rank Up FAST And Unlock Everything

The second weekend of the Black Ops Cold War beta is here!

Weekend two will be the final time players can get their hands on the latest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise before the full game releases on November 13th.

With an increased level cap, there is a wealth of new content to use and to give players the best chance to experience what’s available, Treyarch will activate double XP and double weapon XP for the entire weekend.

If you want to use that weapon that’s always been just out of reach, this weekend is the perfect time to do so!

Play The Objective

This may seem like an obvious technique, but playing the objective is a sure-fire way to receive additional XP during a match.

Capturing and staying inside a Hardpoint hill, securing control of a Domination flag, and even rushing around the map grabbing all Kill Confirmed tags can give you plenty of XP to increase your rank quickly.

There are a range of game modes on offer in the final beta weekend.

For those wanting the traditional Call of Duty experience, Quick Play offers the chance to play Hardpoint, Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed.

These are staple 6v6 game modes on a range of maps which offer several opportunities to earn tens of thousands of XP points!

Fireteam: Dirty Bomb

Fireteam: Dirty Bomb is a brand-new game mode coming to Black Ops Cold War. The beta is the first time players can drop into the huge maps and attempt to detonate bombs that are located all over the map.

With such a heavy focus on the objective, there are various ways to earn a lot of XP extremely quickly.

Keep an eye out for loot crates which can be found all over the map. They contain pieces of uranium, scorestreaks and armour plates which give you a small amount of XP, but with some games lasting over 20 minutes, you will earn a lot of XP just by opening the crates.

Another way of seeing your level skyrocket is to detonate the bombs. Once they have been primed, plant the explosives for an easy 250 XP points!
