Battlefield 2042 is looking to win fans over after Battlefield V ended up being a disappointment, completely scrapping any form of single-player for an intense 128-player online experience and adding plenty of new features.
We’ve already seen how the game’s semi-futuristic setting has made for some interesting weapons and the new Specialists System that is replacing the Class System but a lot of fans want to know; what the heck is this Plus Menu?
What Does The Plus Menu Do In Battlefield 2042?
Thankfully, it’s a pretty cool feature, as the Plus Menu will let fans customize weapons while on the battlefield, pun intended.
Players no longer have to die and respawn so they can customize their weapons from the spawn menu.
You will also be able to swap weapon attachments on the fly while playing, which is great for those that are caught in a pickle and need to pick a different gun on the run.
It seems that the Plus Menu is going to benefit both newer Battlefield players and veterans of this long-running franchise, which we doubt anyone will be complaining about except for those that want more of a challenge.
Still, this is something that will make Battlefield 2042 stand out, not just from the Battlefield games that came before it, but most of the online shooters that are making a name for themselves right now.
We’ll see if the Plus Menu ends up making or breaking Battlefield 2042 but the feature is very useful and we’re sure a lot of people are hyped up to use it.
Battlefield 2042 is expected to come out on October 22, though no gaming systems for the shooter have been confirmed.
