Battlefield 2042 isn't a game that Shroud enjoys, and he has good reasons why. Shroud makes some excellent points about buildings that do not collide and bloom, which ruins firefights. Battlefield 2042 has been the subject of widespread complaints from gamers all over, not just streamers.

Multiple streamers have already expressed concern, and posts on Reddit point out every issue with the game that shouldn't be there. It's far too close to the Battlefield 2042 release for there to be this many issues, and Shroud's comments aren't helping DICE or EA.

Many of the complaints are because features already implemented in previous Battlefield installments aren't present in Battlefield 2042. It isn't a matter of not knowing how to do this; it is a matter of having already done it and scaling back for the newest game. EA had already done something similar when The Sims 4 launched with less customization than The Sims 3.

I don't think DICE will fix all of this by release day. The early access build isn't the builds that DICE will release, but it isn't far from the Gold (release) build, and that's what worries me.
