How to Use Flashlight in Battlefield 2042


We’re getting closer to the release date of Battlefield 2042, and fans are really excited to get their hands on each of the Specialists while also trekking through some of the huge maps, which is why fans want to know how to use every available gadget, with some even asking how to use the Battlefield 2042 Flashlight.

Though it’s not the most useful gadget in Battlefield 2042, there are some dark areas on the map, and knowing how to use the Flashlight could help players go through those shadowy parts, maybe even fooling other players to find them for some extra kills.

How to Use Flashlight in Battlefield 2042

All you have to do is press down on the d-pad so you can use the Battlefield 2042 Flashlight. On PC, press the X key. It's handy - players don’t have to worry about any complicated control schemes that might break up the action.

This isn’t a Doom 3 scenario where players won’t be able to shoot if the flashlight is on so feel free to shoot anyone who might be heading towards your direction if they catch your light in Battlefield 2042.

Considering the number of maps in Battlefield 2042, with more to come via future updates, we'll undoubtedly see more uses for the Flashlight than we currently know. The trade-off between better visibility and giving away your position will be a really interesting one.

Battlefield 2042 is coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 19, after being delayed from its initial October release date.
