Battlefield 2042 Classic Maps Leaked

Anyone who has seen footage of Battlefield 2042 knows that the developers of Ripple Effect Studios, formerly DICE LA, are doing everything they can to evoke classic Battlefield while also introducing some new features.

Recently, EA had a Future of FPS stream where they detailed some of the new things Battlefield 2042 will have while also teasing some of the old since Classic Maps were confirmed for the multiplayer shooter.

Battlefield 2042 Classic Maps Leaked

Currently, neither EA nor Ripple Effect have confirmed which Classic Maps will be returning for the rumored Battlefield Hub that might house these areas, though insider Tom Henderson has some ideas.

On Twitter, Henderson revealed some of the Classic Map leaks he supposedly heard, though he did state that the name ‘Battlefield Hub’ hasn’t been confirmed yet so it might have a different name by the end.

“The maps I've heard will be coming to the #BATTLEHUB: Metro, Locker, Wake Island, Siege of Shanghai, Arica Harbor, Caspian Border," writes Tom Henderson.”

While none of these have been confirmed, the mere existence of Classic Maps coming to Battlefield 2042 has been, meaning that there’s a chance the above leak is fairly legitimate, though take it with a grain of salt.

Still, we can’t deny that the addition of Classic Maps in Battlefield 2042 is fairly exciting since this will allow players to experience these areas with high definition graphics for the first time.

Battlefield 2042 is coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 22.
