Black Isle Studios has announced that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is re-releasomh modern systems this year, after previously porting the original Dark Alliance last year. While a release date for this hack-and-slash RPG hasn’t been announced, Black Isle Studios did say that it would come “sooner than you think."
Coming to PC and modern consoles, it was later confirmed via Twitter that the Nintendo Switch would also see this release. Judging by the first Dark Alliance, we'd also expect to see the sequel arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is Getting Re-Released “Sooner Than You Think”
Last year’s Dark Alliance re-release was considered a fairly barebones port, upscaling the original hack-and-slash RPG, so we'd expect similar for Dark Alliance 2. Previously, the Switch port saw a brief delay but we're hopeful that won't be the case again.
No release date for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 was confirmed, though Black Isle Studios promised that it would be coming soon. Fans interested in something more modern can check out Baldur's Gate 3, currently in early access on PC, Mac, and Google Stadia.
